WHY THIS MOVIE?

Movie-making is very hard work over a long period of time that consists of many moments of joy and empowerment slapped against feelings of disappointment, fear and insecurity.  Many people make movies. And although there are so many “rules” out there about how to make a film, nobody really knows how a movie is made. Every time it is a trial and error…an experiment.

As a creator and filmmaker you will be passionate about a project and you will believe in your work, but you can never be certain about how the world will resonate with your work. Making a movie is an incredible though but beautiful process. Everything starts with “the flicker of an idea that eventually turns into the flickering image on screen”. We wanted to go back to this flicker, to the imperfect truth to find freedom in movie-making.

What drives us

Making a movie is incredible. Making a good movie is a miracle.

We want to make a movie without restricting ourselves to the outcome. Thinking about the filmmaking process as an experiment gives us the freedom to play in the moment and not think about the successful or unsuccessful end-product.
